Chicken Macaroni

Quick Chicken Macaroni Recipe

Ingredients:

- 2 cups macaroni pasta
- 1 cup cooked chicken, diced
- 1/2 cup diced bell peppers (any of your choice)
- 1/2 cup diced onion
- 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/2 cup frozen peas
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

INSTRUCTIONS


1. Cook the Macaroni:

   - Boil water double to the weight of macaroni.
   - Add a pinch of salt and the macaroni pasta.
   - Cook according to package instructions.
   - Drain and set aside.

2. Sauté the Vegetables:

   - In a large skillet over medium heat, put in 2 tablespoons of olive oil.
   - Add onions and bell peppers.
   - Sauté for 3-4 minutes until they start to soften.

3. Add Chicken and Spices:

   - Add the diced cooked chicken to the skillet with the sautéed vegetables.

4. Combine Pasta and Vegetables:

   - Add the cooked macaroni pasta to the skillet with the chicken and vegetables.

5. Add Tomatoes and Peas:

   - Gently fold in the diced tomatoes and frozen peas.
   - Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the peas are heated through.

6. Cheese It Up:

   - Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the top of the macaroni mixture.
   - Cover the skillet with a lid and let it sit for a minute or until the cheese melts.

7. Serve Hot:

   - Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
