Strawberry Banana Smoothie Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 cup frozen strawberries
- 1 ripe banana
- 1/2 cup yogurt (plain or flavored)
- 1/2 cup milk (any type)
- 1-2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup (optional, for sweetness)
- Ice cubes (optional, for extra thickness)
INSTRUCTIONS
STEP 1: Peel the ripe banana and break it into a few pieces.
STEP 2: Add the frozen strawberries, banana pieces, yogurt, and milk to a blender.
STEP 3: If you want a sweeter smoothie, add honey or maple syrup to taste.
STEP 4: You can also add a handful of ice cubes if you prefer a thicker texture or a colder smoothie.
STEP 5: Put the lid on the blender and blend everything until smooth. This usually takes about 30-60 seconds, depending on your blender's power.
STEP 6: Stop the blender and check the consistency. If it's too thick, add a bit more milk and blend again until you reach your desired consistency.
STEP 7: Once the smoothie is smooth and creamy, pour it into a glass and enjoy immediately!
