Puff Pastry Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 pack of puff pastry sheets.
- 1 cup of your favorite shredded cheese.
- 1/2 cup of cooked and crumbled bacon (optional)
- 1 egg (for egg wash, optional)
INSTRUCTIONS
STEP 1: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
STEP 2: Roll out the puff pastry sheets on a floured surface.
STEP 3: Sprinkle the shredded cheese and crumbled bacon (if using) evenly over one of the pastry sheets.
STEP 4: Place the second pastry sheet on top and gently press them together.
STEP 5: Cut the pastry into bite-sized squares or triangles.
STEP 6: Transfer the pieces onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
STEP 7: If desired, brush the tops with a beaten egg for a golden finish.
STEP 8: Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the pastry is puffed up and golden brown.
STEP 9: Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
