Grill Chicken Burger

Grilled Chicken Burger Recipe

Ingredients

- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 hamburger buns
- 2 slices of cheese (optional)
- Lettuce leaves
- Tomato slices
- Red onion slices (optional)
- Pickles (optional)
- Ketchup
- Mustard
- Salt and pepper
- Olive oil or non-stick cooking spray

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.

2. While the grill is heating up, season both sides of the chicken breasts with salt and pepper to taste.

3. Once the grill is hot, lightly oil the grates with olive oil or use a non-stick cooking spray to prevent sticking.

4. Place the chicken breasts on the grill and cook for about 6-7 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and the chicken is no longer pink in the center. If you're adding cheese, place a slice on each chicken breast during the last minute of grilling and close the grill lid to melt it.

5. While the chicken is cooking, split the hamburger buns and lightly toast them on the grill for about 1-2 minutes, or until they are slightly crispy.

6. Once the chicken is cooked and the buns are toasted, assemble your grilled chicken burgers. Start by spreading ketchup and mustard on the bottom half of each bun.

7. Place a grilled chicken breast on the bun, followed by lettuce leaves, tomato slices, and any other toppings you prefer, such as red onion slices and pickles.

8. Finally, place the top half of the bun over the toppings to complete your burger.

9. Serve your grilled chicken burger hot and enjoy!

Note: You can customize your grilled chicken burger with additional toppings like bacon, avocado, or your favorite sauces to suit your taste.
