Cloud Bread

 Cloud Bread Recipe

Ingredients

- 3 large eggs, separated
- 3 tablespoons cream cheese
- 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
- 1 tablespoon sweetener (such as sugar or a sugar substitute, to taste)
- Optional: Food coloring or flavor extracts for customization

INSTRUCTIONS

Preheat the Oven:

Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Separate Eggs:

Carefully separate the egg whites from the yolks. Place the egg whites in a clean, dry mixing bowl and the yolks in another bowl.

Mix Yolks and Cream Cheese:

In the bowl with the egg yolks, add the cream cheese and sweetener. Mix them together until smooth and well combined. You can also add food coloring or flavor extracts at this point if desired.

Whip Egg Whites:

Using an electric mixer, beat the egg whites and cream of tartar on high speed until stiff peaks form. This may take a few minutes, and the egg whites should be fluffy and hold their shape.

Fold Mixtures Together:

Gently fold the egg yolk mixture into the whipped egg whites until fully incorporated. Be careful not to deflate the egg whites too much; the mixture should remain light and fluffy.

Form Cloud Breads:

Spoon the cloud bread mixture onto the prepared baking sheet, forming individual cloud breads. You can make them as large or as small as you like, but keep in mind that they won't spread much during baking.

Bake:

Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for about 25-30 minutes, or until the cloud breads are lightly golden on the outside and no longer gooey in the center.

Cool:

Remove the cloud breads from the oven and let them cool on a wire rack for a few minutes. They will firm up as they cool.

Serve:

Enjoy your cloud bread as a low-carb bread alternative! You can use it as a base for sandwiches or as a side with various toppings.

Note:

Cloud bread is best when served fresh, but you can store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for a day or two.
