Chicken Nuggets Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 pound (450g) boneless, skinless chicken breasts or tenders.
- 1 cup all-purpose flour.
- 2 eggs.
- 1 cup breadcrumbs.
- 1 teaspoon salt.
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper.
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika.
- Vegetable oil for frying.
INSTRUCTIONS
STEP 1: Cut the chicken into bite-sized nugget pieces.
STEP 2: In one bowl, place the flour. In another bowl, whisk the eggs. In a third bowl, combine the breadcrumbs, salt, black pepper, and paprika.
STEP 3: Heat about 1/2 inch (1.25 cm) of vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat.
STEP 4: Coat each chicken piece with flour, then dip it into the beaten eggs, and finally, coat it with the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere.
STEP 5: Place the coated chicken nuggets into the hot oil, being careful not to overcrowd the pan.
STEP 6: Fry the nuggets for 2-3 minutes on each side or until they are golden brown and cooked through. You may need to adjust the cooking time depending on the thickness of your nuggets.
STEP 7: Remove the nuggets from the oil and place them on a plate lined with paper towels to drain any excess oil.
STEP 8: Serve your homemade chicken nuggets with your favorite dipping sauce and enjoy!
