 Butter Boards Recipe



Ingredients

- 1 stick (1/2 cup) unsalted butter, softened
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
- Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- Assorted bread, crackers, or baguette slices
- Optional: Fresh herbs or edible flowers for garnish

INSTRUCTIONS


STEP 1: In a small mixing bowl, combine the softened butter, honey, sea salt, and freshly ground black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are fully incorporated.

STEP 2: Place a sheet of plastic wrap or parchment paper on a clean surface. Spoon the flavored butter mixture onto the wrap or paper.

STEP 3: Roll the butter mixture into a log shape, using the plastic wrap or parchment paper to help shape and compact it. Twist the ends to seal the log.

STEP 4: Refrigerate the butter log for at least 30 minutes or until it's firm.

STEP 5: When ready to serve, remove the butter log from the refrigerator and unwrap it.

STEP 6: Slice the flavored butter into rounds or shapes of your choice. You can use a sharp knife, cookie cutters, or a butter knife dipped in warm water for smooth cuts.

STEP 7: Arrange the butter slices on a serving board or plate.

STEP 8: Serve the butter boards with your choice of assorted bread, crackers, or baguette slices.

STEP 9: Optionally, garnish the butter boards with fresh herbs or edible flowers for a visually appealing presentation.
